Hello friends, I'm Spencer. I made my website a chalkboard because I like them, both as a physical object and as a metaphor. Whenever people have to say what animal I'm the most similar too (which happens more than you'd think), they say golden retriever. But they also say I think more than a golden retriever. I like thinking, and I want to think more. Most of my thoughts are about philosophy, math, or stories. Send me a message if there's something you think I would like thinking about, or if I said something you liked thinking about. I don't really care for pop culture, but I love witnessing somebody obsessed. I used to do all my work while listening to music, but now I wear earplugs. I like the mountains in the mornings and the beach at night, and thunderstorms or fog will always make me happy. People who just do stuff are pretty cool; I'm trying to understand what it means to be one of those people. I like acapella music (learning to beatbox is very fun!) and also one-on-one discussions.
Currently at UCSB studying math. Let me know if you're in the area; I'd love to meet up.
